Personal
The LORD has blessed me with a wonderful husband to whom I have been married since 1983, and four precious children. God called me to stay home with my children when we were expecting our third. I said “Goodbye” to my Air Force career and have not regretted it!
As part of the N-Tech co-op, I taught a variety of subjects at all levels K-12, including science, history, music appreciation, Japanese, and Spanish.
At THEO, I have had the privilege of teaching Starting Points and assisting in the other Worldview classes. Ensuring students are grounded in their faith and can articulate their worldview is a passion for me. I feel it is a paramount aspect of their education.
I also teach Japanese language courses for high school, drawing on my experience of having lived in Japan for two years and having studied the language there. I have enjoyed learning languages for as long as I can remember!
Additionally, I teach Saxon 6/5 math for 5th – 6th grades. It keeps the left side of my brain happy!
The homeschooling adventure is an exciting one and it helps having others come along side at times to support one another in the endeavor.
