New THEO teacher for the 2020-2021 school year

Graduating from Bryan College in 2014 with a BA in English Literature and Creative Writing, I have been tutoring privately in all subjects ever since. I have experience with tutoring all age groups and working with different learning impediments. In my free time, the writing continues.

I also work as a head lifeguard and lifeguard instructor (among my current certifications are CPR/AED and First Aid) and am responsible for supervising, along with a few others, over 100 other lifeguards, ensuring that shifts move well and that they stay on top of their training, often within a classroom setting.

As a writer and an educator, I focus on the need for integrity and principles in a time of shifting values, and I encourage others to find the beauties and truths that God embeds in even the most mundane facets of our lives. As a former student of THEO, I recognize the merits that homeschooling affords, and I am grateful for the opportunity to serve at a place that once served me.
