Meet Mrs. Cook in this video: Meet Mrs. Natania Cook

Philippians 4:8 admonishes Christians to think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Through God’s Word and beautiful literature, we can contemplate these excellent things even amidst the sinful and fallen world in which we live. Because of this, I enjoy diving into great works that encourage deep thinking and great discussion and cause us to pause and ponder what is true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, and admirable. Books, especially when read alongside the Bible, provide a “safe place” for adults and children alike to wrestle with the tough situations of life and to apply God’s solutions for those problems. I am so honored to have the privilege of assisting THEO parents in their efforts to nurture and develop deep thinkers.

My educational background consists of earning a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from Texas Woman’s University as well as a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Education with a specialization in English from Baylor University. I am certified to teach English and English as a Second Language in grades 1-12. I also hold a Reading Endorsement for grades 6-12. My teaching experiences have varied throughout the years as I have served in both public and private school settings as well as in homeschool forums such as Classical Conversations.

My husband and I desired to homeschool our four children from the beginning and consequently sought out groups that would assist us in this journey. We discovered Classical Conversations when our oldest was six years old. Eventually, I founded and directed the Fairview/Allen Classical Conversations campus after having tutored at another CC campus for several years. After seven years in the Classical Conversations program, our children decided to try another educational venue, which is when we discovered THEO. Now, three out of our four children attend THEO classes and absolutely love every minute of it.

I believe that teaching is the gift with which God has generously blessed me, and I strive to honor HIM as I use this gift to impact HIS kingdom.
